WRECO congratulates two new Associates: Jennifer Abrams and Lesley Brooks

Kicking off 2020 with a new title, WRECO senior engineers, Jennifer Abrams and Lesley Brooks, were promoted to Associates in appreciation of their dedication, technical skill, and leadership at WRECO.

Jen A

Ms. Abrams has been with WRECO for the duration of her 12-year career specializing in stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics. She routinely develops complex hydraulic and hydrologic models, performs drainage and stormwater treatment best management practice (BMP) design, and prepares a range of studies and reports for stormwater and hydraulics (Stormwater Data Reports, Location and Design Hydraulic Studies, drainage reports, etc.). Ms. Abrams also performs climate change modeling/studies and sea-level rise inundation studies – a critical issue in today’s environmental climate – for projects like the developing Gateway Park Project at the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and the Surfer’s Beach Shoreline Protection Project along Highway 1 in San Mateo County.

Ms. Brooks has been with WRECO for two of her 13 years in the fields of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management. In addition to being a certified civil engineer, Ms. Brooks is also an Envision Sustainability Professional and Certified Floodplain Manager. While at WRECO, she has been a valuable contributor and leader on a wide range of projects including watershed studies, rail projects, master plans, pipe and channel design, policy development, and low-impact development projects. In her work, Ms. Brooks has gained extensive knowledge of complex hydrologic and hydraulic systems and proficiency in a number of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software programs.

We look forward to more outstanding contributions to the WRECO team in your new role! Congratulations!
