Analette joined WRECO in January of 2007 as a Senior Associate and is currently working on projects for the: Alameda County Transportation Agency (Highway 84 and the East-West Connector Project), City of Walnut Creek, Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (Highway 1 High Occupancy Vehicle Project), Transportation Authority of Marin County (Highway 101/Highway 580 Interchange),Valley Transit Authority (Highway 101/State Route 25), and leading engineering design firms. She is the technical lead for WRECO’s ongoing Water Quality Studies and Technical Services contract with Caltrans. In addition, she has negotiated 401 certifications for several projects including the State Route 4 Loveridge Pump Station Project (Contra Costa Transportation Authority) and the 580 High Occupancy Vehicle Project (Alameda County Congestion Management Agency). Before joining WRECO, Analette worked for Caltrans District 4 as Senior Branch Chief, Stormwater Coordinator from 2003 to 2007. She designed as well as managed the design of temporary and permanent water pollution control measures for Caltrans' projects. Before her promotion to Stormwater Coordinator, she received extensive training and experience by rotating through the Design, Construction, and Hydraulics branches of Caltrans. She analyzed hydroplaning problems on state highways, performed hydrology and culvert hydraulics calculations, and designed various drainage facilities. One of the largest projects was the design of a drainage system for the new depressed Trancas Interchange Project in Napa, which included a double six foot diameter siphon system to convey runoff through the depressed area. Analette Ochoa received her bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in transportation, from the College of Engineering at the University of California, Davis. |
